Calico, Canvas and Colors left off.

Run Away and Sew with Calico Printworks!

Have you wished for uninterrupted time to sew, hang out with friends, laugh a lot and eat great food? Then our retreats are for you! We sew in a large, bright room, with a wonderful view of the harbor. Our fee of $150, tax included, includes sewing time, continental breakfast and lunch both Saturday and Sunday, dinner on Saturday night, goodie bag, fun and fellowship! We start at Noon on Friday and sew until 4pm on Sunday.

The next retreat is scheduled for October 17 - 19, 2008 at the Radisson Harbourwalk Inn located in Racine at 223 Gaslight Circle. The fee of $150 does not include lodging. If you need lodging, we have a block of rooms reserved. The special room rate is $109 for a double, so find a roomie, if you like! You need to call and reserve your room before September 15th for the October retreat to get that rate. Ask for the Calico Printworks block. We really do have a wonderful time, sharing our individual quilting expertise, lives, opinions and experiences with each other. It is amazing how much we learn and get done. Think about all the projects you can complete without any interruptions, except to eat, of course. Great way to finish all those UFO's!

	Saturday night we go to the shop for dinner and shopping. Back to the Radisson for sewing all night long for some and just enjoying the hotel for others.
This retreat was extra exciting! Three of our regular retreaters, Shirley and two daughters, Janet & Karen, had big news on Sunday. Janet became a grandma for the first time, Shirley a Great-Grandma and Karen a great aunt. They have promised to send a picture which I will post right here.
	Like always we had a wonderful time with new and old friends, relaxing, sewing, eating and laughing (a lot). Even the view out our windows is wonderful. Hope you can join us next time!
