This book explores the use of today's textures such as chenille, washable silk, corduroy, velvet, wool and a new fabric called Fireside or Snuggles from Moda. The quilt on the cover is called What's The Point. This quilt can be made with any number of textures as can all the quilts in this book. You will find patterns for 12 new quilts and a fun new pillow. Many with pictures of the quilt done in an alternative coloration and fabrics choice.

This quilt is called Party Mix. It's made with cotton and chenille.

This quilt, Belle City Bistro is named after our home town, Racine Wisconsin, the Belle City. The quilt pictured was made with woven plaids, washable silk and velvet. We also have a great version in the shop using cotton and wool.

Our quilt, Hidden Spools was made with corduroy and cotton. It is also in a smaller child size version called Hidden Spools Small and Simple. Also in this picture is the pillow called Wrap it Up! A great way to make pillows to match your quilts using left over scraps.

Serendipity makes a wonderful baby quilt but don't limit yourself. Add more blocks to increase the size.  Make it with lots of dark scraps of fabric with a tan background. The sky's the limit!
