We thank you for sharing your lives with us. Along the way we’ve watched our children grow, go to college, get married and now many of us have become grandmothers together! We’ve had lots of fun, laughed and cried with each other, and we’ll miss that, and you. What other business provides you with hundreds of friends who enjoy the same things you do?

Please note that our sister company, Calico Printworks WILL continue. We couldn’t leave the quilting world completely. We hope you’ll still look for new books and patterns from Calico Printworks at quilt shops around the country.

Calico Printworks will also be hosting our popular Run Away and Sew Retreats three times per year. The dates for the next FOUR retreats can be found on the Retreats Page.

Machine Quilting services will continue under the Calico Printworks name. After the shop closes, quilts will be taken in by appointment or during selected hours. More information will follow via e-mail or on this web site.

After we close Calico, Canvas and Colors, you will be redirected to a new web site for Calico Printworks.
